Steve A. Myers, DVM

Dr. Myers is a graduate from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, as well as, a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, he worked for 5 years in Chattanooga at a small animal hospital and emergency clinic. During this time, he was also the head veterinarian at the Warner Park Zoo in Chattanooga before opening Animal Medical Center. Dr. Myers grew up on a dairy farm in Coffee County and now resides in Murfreesboro with his wife and their two dogs.

Tim A. Williams, DVM

Dr. Williams is a 1988 cum laude graduate from Lincoln Memorial University with a degree in Biology. He received his doctorate from the University of Tennessee in 1993. Upon receiving his veterinary degree, Dr. Williams served 5 years as an officer in the U.S. Army Vet Corps. He worked in several veterinary clinics in 6 states and 1 foreign country during his tour of duty. Prior to the opening of this clinic he worked as an associate at a small animal practice in Tullahoma, Tennessee.
Dr. Williams is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, is single and now spends his free time working on his ranch in Rutherford County with his many pets and farm animals.

Suzanne Gibson , DVM

Dr. Suzanne Gibson is a Murfreesboro native who graduated from Riverdale HIgh School. She attended Cumberland University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She then attended Tennessee State University and graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Animal Science. In May of 2003, she graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing in Florida for a year in a mixed animal practice, she returned to Murfreesboro in May 2004 to join Animal Medical Center. Dr. Gibson's professional interests include small animal medicine and surgery, as well as equine medicine and reproduction. She has two dogs, Sasha (a retriever mix) and CJ ( a boxer). Her hobbies include learning to play golf, traveling and spending time outdoors.

Kathy Lewis, DVM

Dr. Kathy Lewis is a native of Nashville, Tennessee.  She spent 3 years attending MTSU before being accepted early to the veterinary program at UT Knoxville.  She received her advanced degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2003.  Upon graduating, she spent the summer volunteering at the Nashville Humane Society before joining the staff at Animal Medical Center.  When not working, she spends her free time remodeling her home, working in her garden and playing with her three furry friends at home. 

Molly Morgan, DVM

Dr. Molly Morgan is from Goochland, Virginia where she grew up fishing, catching frogs, riding horses and training Labrador Retrievers. She received a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia. Dr. Morgan then traveled across the country with her lab, Pick, and landed in San Francisco, CA where she worked as a veterinary technician for three years. She then moved to Alabama to attend Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2004. After practicing in Brentwood for a few months, Dr. Morgan joined Animal Medical Center. When not working, she enjoys the great outdoors, arts and crafts, boating, fishing and traveling. Dr. Morgan has two cats, a crippled one named "Mowgli" and a neurologically challenged one named Tweety.

April Smith, DVM

Dr. April Smith grew up in Watertown, Tennessee, a small rural town in Wilson County. She enjoyed playing basketball and outdoor activities. She attended MTSU where she received her Bachelor's degree in biology and education, and worked as a graduate teaching assistant in the biology department before attending veterinary school. Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and immediately returned to the area to join Animal Medical Center. She currently lives in Murfreesboro with her husband, Johnny, 2 weenie dogs, Frank and Lola as well as with a big furry cat named Bently. The Smiths are expecting their first baby (a boy) in June 2005 and are very excited about the arrival of their very own human critter.

Sally Webb, DVM

Dr. Sally Webb grew up on a small farm in McMinnville, Tennessee where she enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities, but especially riding and showing horses. Prior to attending veterinary school, Dr. Webb received her undergraduate degree from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. In 2003 she graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and soon after joined the team at Animal Medical Center. Dr. Webb resides in Murfreesboro with her jack russells, Tad and Idgy, and a boxer named Thunder. She continues to ride and show Tennessee Walking Horses as well as manage her own equine ambulatory practice.

Yvette Marcum, DVM

Dr. Marcum grew up in East Tennessee, the middle of 3 girls. After high school she joined the Navy where she served for 6 years as an electronics technician. She did her under graduate work at the University of New Orleans and then went to vet school at Louisiana State University. Upon graduation, she traveled to Tallahassee, Florida, where she worked in a small animal clinic for 3 years. Family finally brought her back home to Middle Tennessee and to Animal Medical Center. She has a very cute dog named Arty and a very bad cat named Friend. She and her husband are expecting their first child in September 2005.
